SAFe® for Teams (SP)

Build the skills needed to become a high-performing team member of an Agile Release Train (ART)—and learn how to collaborate effectively with other teams—by becoming a SAFe 5 Practitioner (SP). During NextUp’s two-day SAFe for Teams (SP) course, students will gain an in-depth understanding of the ART, how it delivers value, and what they can do to effectively perform their role using Scrum, Kanban, and XP.

Certification

This course prepares individuals to take the exam and become a certified SAFe 5 Practitioner (SP). The SAFe 5 SP exam comprises 45 multiple choice questions and students must earn a minimum score of 77% to pass. The certification is governed and maintained by Scaled Agile. This course also allows students to claim 14 Project Management Institute (PMI) Professional Development Units (PDUs) that can be applied to Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certifications as well as 16 Scrum Educational Units (SEUs) with the Scrum Alliance.

What’s In It For You

What You’ll Learn

Students will learn how to write stories and break down features, plan and execute iterations, and plan program increments. Students will also learn about the continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps culture, how to effectively integrate with other teams in the program, and what it takes to continuously improve the train.
