In addition to expanding our offerings to include additional services such as coaching and Agile assessments, NextUp has added four new training classes to our repertoire! These classes, which include opportunities ranging from foundation-level courses to capstone certifications, round out NextUp’s comprehensive course catalog for Agile, Scrum, and DevOps enthusiasts.
All new courses, which are currently taught live online by our team of experts, include the interactive elements our students expect from NextUp’s trainings, such as videos, games, breakout discussions, and more. These new class offerings include:
In this capstone ScrumMaster course, advanced Scrum Masters prove their deep Agile and Scrum expertise through assignments completed asynchronously and a one-day class. This credential opens career opportunities for Agile coaching, potentially joining Scrum Alliance’s Guide Community as a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), and more. Students will also complete a Personal Development Plan demonstrating their intended path following achieving CSP-SM certification.
The Certified DevOps Foundation course, currently offered through NextUp’s private training, introduces students to the latest thinking and practices in the DevOps community. This two-day class covers topics such as DevOps’ benefits to businesses and IT teams, automation practices, improved workflows, and much more. To become certified, students must pass the DevOps Foundation exam.
Like the DevOps Foundation course, our two-day Certified DevSecOps Foundation class teaches DevOps essentials, but with a focus on integrating security programs into these practices. Currently available through private training, DevSecOps Foundation training ensures students understand how DevOps security practices differ from others while implementing business-driven security strategies.
Facilitation skills are an art and science that can be acquired with years of practice, or they can be learned through training like our Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF) course. In two days, students become better facilitators, allowing them to lead more effective and collaborative meetings. This course is great for not only Scrum Masters and Agile project managers, but any type of leader.
